Sylhet Women's medical college Hospital stands out at a glance as a unique structure, purposefully designed and planed with rational and creative congenial interior set up, that speaks of its far sighted vision and creative congenial atmosphere for medical education to female students and needed medical services to the humanity. Its location in the center of the holy city by an important road side easily draws the attention of the people.
Ten storied hospital building constructed on a high land supported on the right side by college building and on the left another building of same height accommodating hospital administration, essential services and other back up support to hospital. Altogether it makes a compact complex potential to raise it to a centre of excellence in no time.
Although the hospital at present progressive in status is being efficiently run by a host of technical and other departments.Radiology and Imaging, pathology, Microbiology, Biochemistry and Transfusion Medicine etc departments are enriched with modern instruments & equipments.
We are optimistic and confident enough of this hospital functional capability is up to an acceptable standard to be appreciated at all level.
